Our Mission: We have a shared objective to provide compassionate, comprehensive and personalized care to all of our patients. We endeavor to provide exemplary care in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases encompassing adult medicine.

All of our physicians are hospitalists who participate at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Saint Peters University Hospital, Princeton, and sub-acute rehabs – Willow Creek and The Gardens at Monroe.

Our open / advanced access Internal Medicine Practice offers patients:
Adult and Geriatric (Senior) Medicine
At CJIMA, we understand that the medical needs of adults change with age. Adult medicine is the diagnostic, primary care and treatment of adults over the age of 18. It includes the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of chronic illnesses and medical conditions.
Geriatric medicine is a sub-specialty that focuses on the prevention and treatment of disease and disabilities in the older adult.

Adolescent Medicine – Children 13 and up
CJIMA addresses the specific healthcare needs of teens. Adolescent Medicine is the medical care and treatment of children going through puberty or pubescence. We emphasize patient health education to support optimal growth and development during this stage.

Preventive Medicine
CJIMA is a one-stop medical care solution for your health care needs located in Central Jersey area. Preventive medicine focuses on disease prevention. Our preventative medical services include risk assessments, diagnostic care, and recommendations for health regimens to prevent the onset of disease states such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and other conditions.

Hospital and Perioperative Medicine (before and after your operation)
Preoperative medicine is the consultation, patient risk assessment, and co-management of patients who will be undergoing surgery.
Hospital medicine is the care of acutely ill patients who require hospitalization. It includes treatment plans and observations by the primary care or attending physician who oversees the patient’s care.

Urgent Care Medicine
CJIMA offers excellent care you can count on when you need it. Urgent care medicine focuses on treating illnesses or injuries that require immediate care for non-life threatening conditions.

Mid-Life Medicine and Disease Prevention
Our knowledgeable and friendly physicians provide Mid-life medicine,which focuses on patients in mid-life with an emphasis on diagnosis, risk assessment, disease prevention and treatment of chronic or acute disease and disabilities.

Consultative Medicine
Our board-certified physicians conduct a general exam, orders tests and specialty consultations to determine the diagnosis, recommendations and care of his/her patients.

Industrial Medicine
CJIMA provides Industrial medicine services that focus on the safety, health and welfare of people in the work environment.

In-Office Laboratory and Ancillary Services
In-office laboratory and ancillary services include tests performed to determine the health of a patient for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Some of the more common laboratory tests include collection of blood work and urine specimens.

Chronic Disease Management
Our Chronic disease management services assist in the care of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, lupus, multiple sclerosis and other conditions. It includes the recommendation of ongoing therapies and intervention to control chronic disease and increase a patient’s quality of life.

Nutritional Services by an In-house Registered Dietitian
Our dietitian works with patients to help achieve their goals. Our services include dietary recommendations and plans customized to comply with an attending physician’s recommendations in the prevention and control of a certain disease. It can include post-operative diet plans for patients who have undergone surgery.

Population-based Disease Management
Population-based disease management is the coordinated healthcare intervention and treatment for populations at-risk for certain diseases.
