Dr. Schwartzer is a practicing internist and one of the founding partners at Central Jersey Internal Medicine Associates. He is Board-certified in internal medicine/hospital medicine and clinical laboratory medicine. His special interests include chronic disease management, clinical nutrition, personalized medicine and provision of comprehensive care across the adult life spectrum.
Dr. Schwartzer received his undergraduate training at Thomas A. Edison College and Rutgers University. He obtained a Master’s degree at Wagner College in Medical Bacteriology and PhD at UMDNJ-Rutgers University in Immunology/Virology. He studied Medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed residency training at St Peters University Hospital.
Dr. Schwartzer remains active at both local hospitals and holds faculty positions at Rutgers Medical School and Drexel College of Medicine. He has also been named a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor for six consecutive years.His outside interests include spending time with his family, working out, hanging out at the beach house and being with our boxer Rocky.
